Baptisms/ Marriage

Baptisms: Preparaton is required, 3rd Sunday of the month at 12:15pm, call the office to register. The next class is Sept. 13 at 7pm in room B of the Parish Ctr. You must be a registered member of the parish & attend the class before the baptism. You may
attend before your child is born. Parents must attend, Godparents are welcome.

Marriage: 6 month preperation required.  Please call the parrish for more information.

Reconciliation/ Confirmation

Reconciliation: Saturday’s 3:30pm or by appointment.

Anointng of the Sick

If you are sick, homebound or in the hospital & would like Father to visit, please call the office. 

1. We are offering a Bible 101 – Bible Basics class – for you! Art Turner, director of lifelong formation for the archdiocese, will lead the sessions. Whether you read and study your Bible often or don’t even own one, this is for you!  The class will be 6 sessions, once a week, beginning mid-October. If you are interested, please reply right away and let me know which night is best for you.  
2. Gary Montgomery (former sportscaster for WDRB TV) will be offering a presentation to our Confirmation candidates, sponsor, and parents. He will be talking about what it means to be Catholic and understanding the Mass. The talk, although aimed toward the Confirmation class, is open to everyone. Join us Sunday, October 14, at 12:30 pm in church.  
3. Derby Dinner Playhouse: Irving Berlin’s HOLIDAY INN! $58 per ticket includes charter bus to and from, a matinee performance, and buffet dinner. Tickets are limited, so let me know soon if you are interested. Sunday, November 25.   

Parish Outreach

Debbie Thompson is coordinating this ministry. She would be very happy to have others go with her to minister to the women. If you would like to share your time and talent with this ministry, please contact her at 422-3507 or 863-1010, or just talk to her after Sunday Mass.

Help Needed: The Bereavement Committee (people of the Parish that provide food for a meal for the families after a funeral) needs your help in providing a dish for this ministry. If you are willing to be put on the food calling list
to bring a dish for funerals please contact Charlene Lawson at 270-422-2087. Thank you


While we didn’t have enough interest for a weekend retreat at St Meinrad (will try again in the fall), I would still like to offer a one-day retreat. Please look over the following options and answer each question, if you are interested. Thanks!!
